Information for New Patients
We want to start by saying welcome to The Dental People! If it’s your first time learning about us and you’re ready to become a new patient, below is some helpful information on what you can expect during your initial visit. This includes essential forms to fill out, the treatments we’ll perform, and financing options for care. If you have questions or need to schedule your appointment, feel free to contact us!
Your First Visit
Our front desk staff will greet you and provide relevant new patient forms to fill out. We’ll make sure that your wait time is minimal and when the time comes, invite you to the back to one of our operatories. We’ll get your vitals taken, then perform x-rays, an exam, and a cleaning. After we go over our recommendations for your treatment plan, we’ll make sure you get your 6-month reminder scheduled.
In your patient forms, we’ll be able to confirm many aspects of your oral health before prescribing or recommending any treatment. This includes questions about your medical history, current medications, and any other factors you think our dental office should know beforehand. If there is something you are unsure about and need clarification on, feel free to ask our front desk or call ahead of time before your visit.
Dental Insurance Accepted
The Dental People is in-network with most major PPO insurance providers. Having dental insurance makes it easier to afford the most basic forms of care, including cleanings, exams, and x-rays. Our dental office is prepared to help those in need of understanding their coverage and we’ll always take the time to confirm that you’re maximizing your benefits. Feel free to give us a call to confirm if you are in-network with our dental office or learn about alternative financing solutions.

For those who do not currently have dental insurance, our dental office provides third-party financing options to make paying for care easier. Known as CareCredit, this program makes it easy to pay for many dental treatments, regardless of how complex or expensive they may be. In many cases, you can expect little to zero interest attached to your payment plan, helping you save additional money. Click the link below to get approved!
In-Office Dental Savings Plan
Another option for patients without dental insurance is our in-office dental savings plan! For a simple fee, members can have access to a number of valuable benefits that are similar to what you’d receive through traditional insurance, including free biannual preventive care, discounts, and more. If you are interested in learning more and possibly filling out an application, don’t hesitate to contact us directly. We’d be happy to tell you more over the phone or in-person during your next appointment.
